THE BEGINNING

In 2009, Vicco Barringer was inspired to create WYKAU WAM (What You Know About Us We All Matter, pronounced "Wah-koo Wham") an African American trivia game. His goal was to create a game whose mission is to help keep African American history alive by connecting people to their culture and personal interests.

He hopes to encourage everyone to think about their purpose and to make a positive impact on their futures through learning and play! Vicco anticipates that through WYKAU he can incite African Americans to leave a legacy not only for his children but for ALL African American children to enjoy for years to come!

The Game

Wykau Wam is an acronym which means What You Know About Us We All Matter. This is trivia game to help keep history alive by connecting people to their culture and personal interest. We encourage everyone to think about their purpose and to make a positive impact on their future.

The game is for ages 14 to adult and is played by 2 teams, 2 to 5 players per team. Wykau WAM contains 1400 questions and answers.

The questions are split into 5 categories: Sports, HBCU, Politics & Inventions, Music and TV & Films.

Answer correctly to earn points.

The objective is to be the first team to score 500 points.
